while i appreciate your venture into using these new fandangled social media tactics… i am unappreciative of the twitter spam i recently received.

please refrain from contacting me in the future.

All ye other marketers… please note that a message simply stating (or rating in this case) “6.9” will not prompt me to buy your product, add you as a friend, follow you, respond to you, bookmark you or like you.

aside from my rant here… you-absolut have been removed from my social circle.

"Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortunes; but great minds rise above them."

“Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortunes; but great minds rise above them.”

- Washington Irving

Twitter turned me into an online dater

okay so not really, but thats about what it feels like.

I have never been one to join a chat room, or find people on myspace or facebook and follow them… but there is something about Twitter.. it’s like this lil cult of people who are just cool. I now “know” people who will be in town for Web 2.0 and are then traveling down to Coachella- nice!!

who knew that a little web application could make u open up to a online friends and a new way of interacting. eat it up digital anthropologists.

IAB marketing plan, GOTR event/mktg plan…. no time 4 fun, though i am excited about my new shoes.

The first day was definitely a drag and we suffered through it. The best panel featured Julie Roehm. While I wasnt familiar with her story, many others were. As a business leader in the making, it was inspiring to see someone like Julie get up in front a large audience and have the ability to laugh at herself.

The other days consisted of me trying to figure out how small companies can use some of the “strategies” and advice the Nikes, HPs and Clorox-s, were offering.

It seems as though we are all in the same boat when it comes to figuring out how to use online most effectively-and stay within a given budget.
